Bethany Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Lakeland, Florida

Bethany is a welcoming community of believers in south Lakeland, Florida.  Worship services are largely informal with a vibrant mix of traditional and contemporary music.  Biblical teaching is at the heart of the worship services and the Christian Education program for adults and children.  Children find their worship needs catered to in a children's sermon which precedes dismissal of children from the main worship service to children's church.  

We enjoy fellowship dinners together monthly, and Bethany's Women's and Men's groups also meet monthly.  A Bible study group meets weekly.  For the musically inclined, the teenage-adult Chancel Choir practices offer a lively break from the week's activities and an opportunity for people of all skill levels to improve their musical abilities under the training of a talented music educator.

Bethany supports several local ministries serving Lakeland area children and adults in addition to global missions.  Bethany offers a ministry for everyone within the church or within the community.  All talents are valued.
