Pastor’s Pen “Let the same
mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus..." (Phil 2:5)
West Central District Spring Assembly Saturday, May 10 at =============================== The Special Guest
Speaker, Rev. Dr. Richard Hamm (former General
Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),
will speak on “Recreating the Church:
Leadership for the Post-Modern Age”.
The registration cost of $10 for youth and adults and $6 for
children includes lunch. Special
activities are provided for children (infants – elementary school).
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.; program at 10:00. Please contact Sally
Tilton 682-4594 with your reservation.
And of course, we will carpool together and have a wonderful time
with our friends from around the area.

Announcements Dinner each evening
and activities for all ages are being planned for our ****** PENTECOST
– MAY 11-WEAR RED During worship on
May 11, we will be celebrating the presence of the Holy Spirit and the
beginning of the church (Acts 2). Everyone
who participates in worship is invited to bring a flame cut out of felt
(available in the church narthex) to attach to the Pentecost banner.
On the flame, please write your name and one or two words that
describe how you feel about the church.
The completed banner will be presented the next Sunday, May 18,
as we celebrate ***** FELLOWSHIP
LUNCH SUNDAY,
MAY 18 Bring your favorite
covered dish to share as we enjoy our monthly lunch together.
What great cooks we have at ***** Sunday
School Breakfast A light breakfast
(cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast, coffee, juice, etc.) is served every
Sunday morning from 9:00-9:25 a.m., so gather up the whole family and
join us. The added benefit
is that you will be right on time for Sunday school, and we all need to
continue our Christian education – especially our children.
So fill up the car and come on to breakfast, Sunday school, and
worship. What better
priority can you have in the new year? INK
CARTRIDGES When you change ink
cartridges in your computer printer, will you bring the empty ones to
the church office? Each
cartridge gives Cards from the Congregation
